Acceptance

By accessing or using MindVault, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Technical Liability Disclaimer

A blockchain timestamp constitutes supportive evidence of prior art and possession of content at a specific time. It does not replace, substitute for, or constitute a government-issued patent, trademark, or formal copyright filing. MindVault makes no legal representations regarding the enforceability of timestamps in any jurisdiction.

Blockchain timestamps are technical records, not legal instruments. You are solely responsible for understanding the evidentiary value of a timestamp in your jurisdiction and for seeking qualified legal counsel if you intend to rely on a timestamp in any legal proceeding.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use MindVault to:

Submit, store, or timestamp illegal, infringing, or otherwise prohibited content.
Abuse, spam, or make automated bulk requests to the API beyond normal usage.
Circumvent rate limits, access controls, or security measures.
Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation.

MindVault reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of this policy.

Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

MindVault shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the service. To the extent permitted by law, MindVault's total liability for any claim arising out of these terms is limited to the amounts you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim. For users on the free tier, this amount is $0.

DMCA / Takedown

If you believe that content accessible through MindVault infringes your copyright, please send a notice containing:

Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
Identification of the material claimed to be infringing and its location.
Your contact information (name, address, phone, email).
A statement of good-faith belief that use is not authorized.
A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you via email (if you have provided one) or via an in-app notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
